PACE Party 2024 was a great success, with over 225 guests attending at the USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum in Alameda. Guests enjoyed looking at the exhibits while dining on hors d’oeuvres, sipping cocktails and listening to live music.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the first ever Center for Elders’ Independence Legacy Award to State Senator Nancy Skinner. Senator Skinner recounted for the audience her involvement in assisting all California PACE programs receive entitled funding during the Great Recession in 2011. She was also instrumental in directing $1,000,000 to CEI for the construction of the PACE West County Center now under construction in El Sobrante.
The funds raised at this event will directly benefit our participants by contributing to the Helping Hands Emergency Assistance Fund, the Language Bridge Fund, and the WebLinks Program.
